ABOUT THE BOOK:
Woman, God Made You a Queen for Life was born out of a series of messages on the family taught by author Eric F. Ricks at his home church in Burlington, NJ several years ago. As he expounded on the Scriptures, focusing on chapters one and two of the Book of Genesis, Pastor Ricks uncovered a message that would change the way he viewed and interacted with women forever—a message that transformed this former, self-proclaimed chauvinist into a man with deep compassion for and understanding of women.
Now, this husband, pastor, teacher, mentor and friend has turned that life-altering message into a book that he believes will liberate and empower women to embrace and walk into their God-given purpose. ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Pastor Eric F. Ricks is senior pastor and founder of Faith Deliverance Worship Center in Burlington, NJ (formerly Deliverance Evangelistic Church of Burlington County) where he has served since 1972. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Pastor Ricks received his ministerial training and education at the city’s famed Deliverance Evangelistic Church, under the leadership of the late Pastor Benjamin Smith, Sr., and the Center for Urban Theological Studies (CUTS).
Pastor Ricks served as chairman of the Sponsoring Association at CUTS for one year and was also an instructor there for more than 10 years. Trained and experienced in street evangelism, Pastor Ricks has traveled extensively throughout the United States and in Haiti, Jamaica, and Africa, preaching and teaching workshops and seminars to spread the Gospel message and make disciples of men.
Pastor Ricks’ spiritual declaration is Proverbs 3:5-7: “5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Pastor Ricks has been happily married to his lovely wife, Minister Vernell Ricks, since 1962.
