WELL, Here is the million-dollar question:
Will you go to Heaven when you die?
Here’s a quick test to find out: Have you ever told a lie or stolen anything — even a piece of candy or a pen from work? Have you failed to acknowledge that He is God or used His name in vain (that is, in a mindless or careless way that doesn’t speak of Him reverently, as in praise, adoration or thanksgiving)? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matt. 5:28).”
So on Judgment Day, you would stand before God as a “lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart.” Bearing in mind that God is perfect and that He has even seen your thoughts, when you stand before Him on that day will you be innocent or guilty? You know you will be guilty, and end up in Hell. Perhaps you don’t believe that. Perhaps you don’t even believe in God. That means there’s more bad news for you, because it will happen anyway—no matter what you believe (Heb. 9:27; John 3:18).
But spending any time in Hell is not God’s will for you, for me, or for any of us.
God sent His Son, Jesus the Christ, to suffer and die on the cross for you, me, and the whole world. Jesus took your punishment upon Himself: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Then He rose from the dead and defeated death. Please, REPENT today! Turn away from sin today—anything forbidden by God and all those things you’re thinking, saying or doing that simply do not honor or please Him in any way—and turn to God. Trust in the Lord, Jesus Christ, and God will grant you everlasting life with Him. Then read the Bible daily and obey what it says. Taking this step is as easy as ABC:
Admit that you are a sinner (Rom. 3:23). Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins (Acts 16:31). Confess that He is Lord and accept Him into your heart and you will be saved (Rom. 10:9).
May God reveal the Truth to you today, open your eyes, and cause you to call on the name of the Lord Jesus to save you from the wrath of God and bring you into His grace. He is ready to receive you, when you sincerely put your faith in the Lord Jesus. Amen!
Because I love you and do not want you to go to Hell or live another day outside of the Grace of God…receive the Truth and come to Jesus!
